The restaurant is pretty nice with the dim lights, the Japanese style interior, and the smell of pricey fresh sushi and sashimi.

Le Food~!

The food were served quite fast. However, the struggle to get to order the food was pretty hard. Because all the waiters there played hard to get!

They did hear us, but pretended like they didn’t and fled right away.

We called several of them when we wanted to order our food, they glanced at us but none of them came to our table. It took about 8-10 minutes till one waiter finally showed up. Thankfully it didn’t take too long to wait for the food.

The Dynamite dishes were served first. I forgot which one was Fish Dynamite and which one was Half Baked Dynamite Dori.. But both dishes taste awesome with that orange spicy creamy mayonnaise topping. In fact, every menu with the Dynamite sauce is tasted awesome.

We should have ordered more sashimi than the sushi rolls coz the rolls fill up the stomach faster than those delicious fresh sashimi. But, oh here come more rolls.. (T-T)

Hot or cold Ocha is excluded from the all-you-can-eat price and it’s bottomless. However, calling the waiters for the refill was another pain in the ass.

Yes, they noticed but kept ignoring our calls. (-_-) It’s totally like a trial and test of patience.

The Judgement!

Now for the judgement – the moment when I had to decide whether to recommend this restaurant or not. Actually, I would like to give it 8 points of out 10 for the sushi, but their ultimately slow and annoying service just reduce the points by 2. Sorry. My suggestion: next time when customers call, run to us with all your might!

I ate too much~! and paid IDR130,000 for this whole all-you-can-eat experience.

It’s the last day of the first month in 2012. The day we, employees, have been waiting for. The PAYDAY!! So did you get a raise, folks? Me, I got a raise! YAY! Whoohoooo I am so very berry strawberry happy! It would be extremely useful.

Ok so now I have received my sweat of hard works for a month, it’s time to..

And in no time, the money would run out like water. Hahaha so did you spend your monthly salary like I did? No worries. After all, it’s still a blessing to be able to work and taste your hard work in a form of money.

Singapore Flyer – the giant Ferris Wheel aka Giant Observation Wheel.

Did you know: that Singapore Flyer (or Britain’s London Eye) should be called as Giant Observation Wheel as there are some differences between Giant Observation Wheel and Ferris Wheel.

Actually I wanted to ride Singapore Flyer while the sun was setting, but my family and I arrived too early. So we boarded into the capsule at around 5PM (Singapore’s time) when the sun was still shining soooo bright. The ticket costs SGD29.50 for adult, since my uncle is a senior already so his ticket only costs SGD23.60.

One capsule can carry up to 28 passengers, but there were only a few visitors at the Singapore Flyer during that day, so we shared the capsule with another family consists of 3 people.

The sloooooowly rotating wheel. It takes around 30 minutes for one 360° rotation.

The good thing about the slow rotation is there are plenty of time to enjoy the view and take lots of good pictures of the Singapore’s skyscrapers.

However after taking lots of pictures, till I ran out of objects that I want to capture, there were still more time left in the capsule because the wheel is still slooooowly rotating…

till it got quite boring.

I saw the elders were also bored. The first few minutes, they still stood around the observation glass, excitingly observing the view, taking pictures. 15 minutes later they already sat down and chit-chatted about other topics instead. Well, I got bored too..

Though quite boring, Singapore Flyer is worthy for an experience. It’s extremely high but it wasn’t scary because the rotation is smooooooth and slooooow. The view might be more enjoyable at night or during sunset which I failed to attempt..

I wonder why most people like drinking beer, it tastes bitter, ladies and gentlemen. Why do you like to drink something bitter? But then in the mood of playfulness, I remembered my friends’ recipe to mix beer with soda.

50% beer, 50% sweet carbonated soda.

So how did it taste? It tasted quite refreshing, not as bitter as the plain beer. Both drinks contain lots of gas, so combine two of them is like making the gas amount double.

However this Chinese New Year celebration is a bit dull.

The elders said that I shouldn’t get angpao this year since I have worked and earned my own money. I complained to them, since I haven’t got married or lived on my own, I should have still received angpao like any other previous years but they wouldn’t budge.
