It was gloomy. The gloomiest day I’ve ever spent in a theme park!
The sky was cloudy, the rain was falling almost all day, and my friends were not pumped. Simply gloomy.

However I’ve already come that far and sacrificed a lot of money to visit Korea, so there’s no way I shouldn’t enjoy it. Besides, though it was still September, The Everland was already fully decorated for Halloween. When can I enjoy the Halloween atmosphere in Indonesia? I should be very excited.

So I will miss-guide you about how to get there, what some of the attractions are in Everland, the Everland Carnival, that oh-freakin-creepy-that-made-me-almost-pee-in-my-pants Horror Maze and of course more gorgeous pictures around the theme park. After the jump!

How To Get There

Just walk. Ok, kidding.

Gangnam area, where people walk under their umbrella-ella-ella-ae in style.

Take a subway to Gangnam Station, exit at number 6, walk forward to the nearest bus stop and catch bus no. 5002 that will take you to Everland shuttle bus stop. Ride a shuttle bus to Everland theme park for free. Or, take a taxi from your hotel lykaboss!

When Get There

Simply queue to buy a ticket.

One-day pass costs KRW38,000 for each person. There were 3 of us, so yes KRW114,000. Half-day pass is also available but I forgot what the price was. After you had the ticket, feel free to enter the park, grab a map. And enjoy the rain…

Attraction: Pororo 3D

To avoid the pouring rain, the first attraction that we went to was this Pororo 3D theatre. The whole introduction and 3D movie was in Korean, but no worries, it’s still enjoyable.

The human-size Pororo appeared on the main stage before the 3D movie was played on the screen.

Out from Pororo 3D, the rain was still falling. So we’re kind of rushing around the park and I didn’t get to capture every attraction. Anyway, I also didn’t get to visit every attraction in Everland because most of them were closed temporarily during rain.

The rain stopped for a while and we got to watch the carnival here later. Notice the crazy roller coaster track on the background? Anyway, it was closed during the rain.

The Everland Safari

The safari is included in the ticket, you can ride the bus for free and get a quick tour around the zoo in Everland. The tour was around 20-30 minutes as I remembered, the animals were bears, lions, tigers, liger, etc.

The Carnival Fantasy Parade

The parade is to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Everland.
